Untitled #2

I have been steadily working on this patch work resin pattern which could be described as similar to a Mark Rothko painting.  Hence the name Untitled #2, as none of Rothko's paintings ever had a more descriptive name than this.  I am very pleased with this board and put a lot of heart into it.  I hope you enjoy it Cherry, now I can truly say that my boards are coast to coast.  This is a 8'4" x 22" x 2 7/8" Mini-Malibu design.

Nameless Places

long road home
This weekend was a total surfari around Michigan.  I built a bed in my car, loaded up boards, packed a cooler and followed the swell.  I surfed some of the best waves I have seen in quite some time and shared them with both new and old friends.  Props go out to Marcus, Shawn, Stefan, and the rest of the Minnesota chargers.

Does This Make Me Look Fat?

Horizontal stripes aren't always the most becoming pattern on a wide shape unless it is a Mini-Simmons wearing them.  I thought it would be funny to accentuate the stout stature of this little guy.  The board is 6'0" x 23" x 3" and ready to surf.
