Ben just dropped me a line from the magical North West and says that his mini-bob is doing it proper, according to the man, "the bob is rockin'...throwin' cups... Super stoked... I really haven't been happier with a board in a very long time."  There you have it.  I couldn't be more stoked for you Ben, hit me up when you get back this way brother!

Shoegaze Surf

I had a steady diet of this genre in high school, and it's still one of my favorites.  The band is Ride and the song is called Vapour Trail.

9'0" Classic

Classic 9'0" Single fin.  Flat through out the belly, concave in the nose, full volume out to the rails.  There is a bit more rocker than what is common in the classic log which should make this board a wave catching machine.  EPS core with a beautiful cedar stringer.  Did I say Classic already???

magic hour

Photographers know the hour before sunset as magic hour because of the soft light. This isn't always true in Michigan as we have a huge blanket of clouds covering the sun most of the year. However, sometimes the surf turns on around this time and produces some really nice shaped waves. Here's my neighbor Dale enjoying magic hour on Lake Michigan.
