It slices, it dices, it juliennes. This board will have plenty of wave bite with a slight V in the pin tail, softer rails transitioning to sharp, and a nose concave just in case, i don't know, someone wants to walk the plank.
Thanks Ryan, this should be the ideal board for your Dad, plus it is going to look sick! I'm going with medium - light gray resin tint, white hardware and a white pin line. I'll start glassing this week.
Welcome to the world of surfboard building and surfing in the Great Lakes. Though our waves can't compete with most major breaks in the world, we do get plenty of decent surf, without the crowds. Some people compare surfing on the lakes to what surfing used to be on the ocean in the 60's and 70's. We are still trying to figure out what type of boards work well in fresh water, there are many undiscovered surf spots, and the community here is among the most welcoming. So here we are, enjoy.
I like this a lot. Can't wait to see Scott riding the Ghost Knife.
ReplyDeleteThis board looks amazing! Can't wait to see Pa flyin' around on his new 'shortboard'... Way to go Justin, another masterpiece!
